R244 UVtron Flame Photoelectric Sensor No Visible Light Cut-off Filter Required High Sensitivity for Combustion Monitoring
UVTRON UV on/off detectors utilizing the metallic photoelectric effect and the gas multiplication effect. It has a narrow spectral sensitivity of 185 nm to 260 nm and is completely insensitive to visible light. Unlike semiconductor detectors, it does not require a visible light cut-off filter, making it very convenient to use.
Features:
- Ultra-sensitive Detection: It's able to perceive extremely faint ultraviolet rays, with a detection threshold as low as 1 picowatt.
- Solar-blind Property: It possesses no response to visible light and infrared light, which averts interference from ambient visible and infrared radiation, and guarantees stable and precise detection.
- High Reliability and Longevity: It can continuously work in the discharge state for 10,000 hours, with stable performance and a long service life.
- Swift Response: The response speed is extremely rapid, which can be completed in just a few milliseconds, and can promptly capture the change of ultraviolet signal.
- Low-current Operation: It can operate under low current conditions, which is helpful to reduce the power consumption of the whole detection system.
- Compact and Portable: The structure is small and light, convenient for being installed in various narrow space equipment.
Application Areas:
- Combustion Monitoring: In the burners that use gas and oil as fuel, the R244 can detect the ultraviolet rays produced by the flame, so as to monitor the combustion situation of the burner and ensure the normal operation of the combustion equipment.
- Fire Alarm Systems: It is capable of detecting the ultraviolet radiation generated by the initial stage of a fire, and triggering the alarm device at the first time, so as to realize the early warning of a fire and win valuable time for evacuation and fire-fighting.
- Arson Surveillance: It can be installed in some places that need to prevent arson. Through the detection of ultraviolet rays, it can help to promptly discover the abnormal situation of arson behavior and assist in the investigation of arson cases.
- Ultraviolet Leakage Detection: In the occasions where ultraviolet devices are utilized, like ultraviolet curing equipment and ultraviolet sterilization devices, it can detect whether ultraviolet rays leak out, to avoid the harm of ultraviolet rays to human body and the environment.
- Discharge Phenomenon Monitoring: It can identify the ultraviolet radiation produced by the discharge phenomena like corona discharge of high-voltage transmission lines, which is of great significance for monitoring the operation status of high-voltage power equipment and ensuring the safety of the power grid.
