DS4-HCHO-100 Electrochemical Gas Sensor
Detection Principle:
Adopts EC Sense (Germany) solid polymer electrochemical detection technology based on electrochemical catalytic reaction. The sensor consists of three electrodes in contact with a solid electrolyte, typically made of high-surface-area noble metals and other materials. Gas diffuses through a porous membrane to the working electrode, where oxidation or reduction reactions occur on the electrode surface, generating a current signal proportional to the gas concentration.
Features:
- Wide Power Supply Range: Operates within 3.3V–12V DC (recommended 5V DC).
- Broad Temperature Range: Functions normally at -40°C to +55°C without temperature compensation.
- Stable Performance: Exhibits excellent long-term zero-point stability, anti-poisoning capability, and long service life.
- Rapid Response: Quickly captures gas concentration changes for real-time monitoring.
- Good Linearity: Output signal shows linearity with gas concentration within the detection range.
- Low Power Consumption: Low-power design with sleep mode, suitable for battery-powered IoT devices.
- Compact Size: Standard 4-series industrial size (20mm diameter × 16.6mm height, excluding pins), weighing <6g for easy integration.
- User-Friendly: Factory-precalibrated (no user calibration needed); self-identifies gas type and range; supports user-defined encryption codes to prevent misinsertion of other sensors.
