RCWL-0516 Microwave radar Motion Sensor Module Doppler Sensor for Human-Induced Lighting
Product Applications:
- Human-Induced Lighting: It can be applied in places such as stairwells, corridors, and bathrooms. When human movement is detected, the lighting equipment is automatically turned on, and automatically turned off after the person leaves, realizing intelligent and energy-saving lighting.
- Anti-Theft Alarm: Installed at locations such as doors, windows, and walls, it can trigger alarm devices (such as alarms and cameras) when an object moves within its detection range, and is used for security monitoring in homes, shops, and other places.
- Smart Home Control: As a sensor in the smart home system, it can be used to control devices such as smart curtains and air conditioners. For example, when it detects someone entering the room, it automatically opens the curtains or adjusts the air conditioner temperature.
- Automatic Door Control: Combined with the automatic door system, it detects when someone approaches and automatically opens the door to facilitate people's entry and exit, which is often used in places such as shopping malls and hotels.
Product Features:
- Superior Detection Performance: Adopting 2.7G microwave signal detection, it has the characteristics of high sensitivity, long sensing distance, and large sensing angle. The detection distance is generally 5-9 meters, enabling 360-degree dead-angle-free detection. It is not affected by the environment, temperature, dust, etc., and can penetrate glass, thin wood boards, and so on.
- Wide Operating Voltage Range: The operating voltage is generally 3.6-28V. The wide voltage tolerance range allows it to adapt to various power supply environments, making its application more flexible.
- High Customization Level: Its parameters can be configured to adapt to different environments and needs, such as adjustable blocking time and distance. It can also realize the function of turning off detection at night by connecting an external photoresistor, etc.
- Good Output Characteristics: The output voltage is 3.2-3.4V, the output voltage driving capacity is 100mA, and the triggering method is repeated triggering. When a moving object is detected, it outputs a high level of 3.3V; when there is no moving object, it outputs a low level of 0V, which is convenient for connecting and controlling with other circuits.
- Easy Integration: It is compatible with a variety of mainstream development boards, such as Arduino and Raspberry Pi. It provides easy-to-understand APIs and rich sample codes, facilitating developers to get started quickly and conduct secondary development.
- Low Power Consumption: The operating current is generally 2.8-3mA, with low power consumption, which is suitable for long-term stable operation, especially having advantages in some battery-powered application scenarios.
